I am an experienced, HCPC-registered, Chartered Counselling Psychologist, working in Oxford, London and Southend-on-Sea.
Aims and Values
I am committed to psychological well-being and helping my clients to fulfil their potential. I will work with you to choose an approach to therapy which best suits your problems and goals, and the way in which you prefer to work. If I do not think that I have the skills or experience to help, then I will work you to find someone more appropriate to your needs.
Background and Experience
I currently work in private practice in both Oxford and London, and as a Supervisor and Bereavement Volunteer for Cruse Oxford. I also assist in the teaching of psychometrics for students at City, University of London.
Previously I have worked within the NHS and not-for-profit sectors, providing general counselling, as well as specialised work in bereavement and loss, addictions and eating disorders.
As a registered Counselling Psychologist, I adhere to the codes of ethics of the HCPC, BPS and the BACP. I also invest heavily in my continuing training and development, participating regularly in workshops, conferences and peer groups.
